300 SL

Mercedes have never really done it for me,as German cars go it’s Porsche that floats my boat, but this 300SL is an absolute peach.
Had a day out with some friends at Brooklands Museum soaking up the history but before we left Weybridge we stopped off at Mercedes World.
Loads of expensive new nice enough cars that I’ll never be able to afford but a few classics on display too. Pick of the bunch was two 300 SL’s, this hard top and a soft top. For my money the hard top wins in looks and you can’t put gull wing doors on a soft top either.
