Went the day well?

Went the day well?

No not really , at least not by the end of it. Had a bit of a boys day out skate trip to Bournemouth sampling of the delights of being a passenger in a mates test drive Tesla Model S P100D.

It’s a monster, an absolute monster but classy and understated too, not in your face at all. 0-60 in 2 and bit seconds, seats 5 comfortably, a boot in the front and the back, 300mile range if driven sensibly and free to charge at a Tesla charger or so I’m told. I loved it and if I had £132000 spare I would buy one tomorrow, but don’t tell the wife.

A quick blip of the throttle to overtake the car transporter…

I can also confirm it’s quite comfortable as a passenger on a 2 hour drive back to my local A&E with another broken elbow. I’ve broken the right one twice in 3 years, different bones (neck of Radius and snapped Olecranon) but same elbow. Yesterday I completed the set with two breaks on the left one. So I can truthfully say I’ve broken 3 elbows. How many people do you know with 3 elbows?

Got to A&E at 20:15 hoping it’d be a nice quiet evening but of course it wasn’t. It was rammed. Every seat was full. I got signed in and saw the Triage nurse and she said it was at least a 2 hour wait to be seen. That was good though as the last couple of evenings it had been 5-6 hours. I was eventually sent for the first set of X-Rays after 3.5 hours confirming what I’d thought already. Had bloods and ECG in preparation for when they eventually want me in for the repair op. Finally got to leave at 01:30am. Even with the long waits all the staff were completely lovely despite being rushed off their feet. Government if you are listening, please properly finance the NHS.
